For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. Romans 8:18
Life in this present world keeps throwing to us all kinds of complicated situations that sometimes we may feel like giving up. Today in the world circles, the truth is rare and the hunger to succeed by all means possible is at its peak. This makes it tough for Christians to stand strong on the values of their faith. However, as for you child of God, the best is yet to Come.
Anything that you endure for Christ in this present time will never be in vain. There is no measure of suffering for Christ that can out weigh the Glory to be revealed. The bible calls the suffering of the present moment as light afflictions. It is these light afflictions that work for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory (2 Cor. 4:17).
In everything you experience, there is a glory to be revealed in you. For this reason you ought not to let what you see to blind you from what is coming ahead of you.
As a Christian, according to 2Cor. 4:18 you ought to know, that what you see presently in your life, is temporary. If you can see the problem in your life, know for sure that it is about to change, but the glory that is to be revealed in you, is eternal and it is here to stay.
You can begin to experience this glory right here in this world as you begin to study God’s word. Not only are you able to see this glory, but it shall be revealed in you. You will become your full potential when this glory is revealed in ways only God can perform it in you.
Consider Joseph, how he suffered for upholding the values of his faith. He was sold to slavery by his own brothers for having a dream, as the scripture says that a man’s enemies are those of his household. While in slavery, he was accused for something he did not do and was sent to prison where he stayed for more than 10 years of his life. Nevertheless, he kept holding on to the faith and when the moment came for the glory in him to be revealed, he was taken out of prison and raised to a governing position of second in command in the greatest Empire of the time.
You too, ought to endure the present moments for the glory to be revealed in you. God has the best in store for you. Scripture says about this glory to be revealed that eye has not seen, nor ears heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him (1 Cor. 2:9). No one truly knows what is to be revealed in you, but as you hold on to the Lord, He will fulfil your dreams.
So hold on, Your time is coming soon, for you to shine and reign with Him. The bible says. If we endure, we shall also reign with Him. If we deny Him, He also will deny us, 2 Tim. 2:12 so then, hold on, the best is yet to come
