EMBRACE YOUR DIFFERENCE, ITS THE UNIQUENESS OF YOUR STRENGTH

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: 1 Peter 2:9

There is nothing in you as important as your difference. Your difference is your God given uniqueness that sets you apart from the rest. In all your composition as a person, you were designed to stand out, so do not struggle to fit in. If you do not know your difference, you will never know what others need from you.

God did not create you to fit in. He created you to reveal your difference. The Spirit of God fearfully and wonderfully designed you to reveal this difference to the praise of God. Right from your fingerprints, No one is like you. God gave you your difference to solve someone’s problem. Your difference is what will attract people to you. Your difference reveals your purpose on earth. Your greatest rewards come through your difference. When you discover your difference, you master your purpose and destiny.

Your difference is both physical and spiritual. Your physical differences are those things that you naturally do. They come to you as talents. In some cases, they are your personalities. However, your spiritual differences are those that the Holy Spirit has endowed into your inner man. In the opening scripture, God wants you to know that as a child of God you are of a chosen generation, with royalty and priesthood imputed in the nature of the new man in you. This makes you different. He has endowed you with spiritual attributes that set you apart from the rest. The Bible says, the Holy Spirit has divided to every man severally as He will, 1 Cor. 12:11. In doing this He has given you the ability to be a benefit to all people as the scripture says but the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal, 1 Cor. 12:7. Your difference is what the Spirit has given you to offer every man that comes to you. What has the Spirit given to you, to reach out to others? Get to study yourself.

In most cases, what you love to do most reveal what your difference is. The clue to your difference is in the things you hate to see and the things you love to do. What you hate to see means you are a solution to it; what you love to do is the potential in you.

Do not limit your spiritual difference to gifts of miracles, healing and so on, as determinates of gifting. Those may not be your difference, as they are for all who believe. Your difference can be of help or ministering mercy. Whatever it is, it is what makes you unique. Many who come to you will find you by your difference. So, do not settle for similarity to be comfortable; be rewarded by being different.
