GOD HAS WONDERFUL THOUGHTS TOWARDS YOU

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways my ways, says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:8

Have you ever wondered what God thinks of you? Have you ever asked yourself when God looks at me, what does He think of me especially having known all your weaknesses and strengths? Many times, we examine ourselves and conclude that we are not worth this or that. Often, we conclude about ourselves on what people have judged us to be. However, I want you to know that God’s opinion of you differs from what others may say.

God’s thoughts towards you are revealed in what Jesus did for you on the cross of Calvary. At Calvary, God showed the extent to which He could go to provide, protect, and set up your destiny. From before time, God’s thoughts towards you were to bring salvation to you through Jesus Christ. His thoughts are not tied to the momentary situations of life, no. His thoughts are purposed to bring you to a good, expected end. The bible says “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. And I will be found of you, saith the Lord: and I will turn away your captivity..." JER 29:11.

That expected end is Christ. In other words, the place and position of victory God planned and thought for you, is in Christ. For in him we live, and move, and have our being. Acts: 17:28. We who believe, are made complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power, Col 2:10. In all your weaknesses and strengths, He intends to make you overcome victoriously. Let not the situations of life make you think that God is not in any way concerned with you, no; He is more involved in your life than you think. Your ways of approach to life may be different but God is at work in you. No situation in your life takes him by surprise.

Allow Him to work in you today by thinking of yourself the way He thinks of you. You can know what He thinks of you when you read His Word. See yourself the way He sees you. He sees you as more than a conqueror, He sees you as a child of God, He sees you as an overcomer, as a blessing, as a success. And this is who you are. Don’t look at yourself any different. What God thinks of you is who you are. Read Psalms 139:17-18

Dear Heavenly Father, I pray that I can see myself the way you see me. I pray that I do not receive the grace of God in vain. For I believe, you have good thoughts towards me. My future is bright, and the path of my life grows brighter and brighter to a perfect day. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen
