IT TAKES BELIEVING TO SEE THE GLORY

Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? John 11:40

Everyone is in search for glory. Many things have been mistaken to be the glory, but a child of God must understand the true glory.

In the opening scripture, the Lord was speaking to Martha who was deep in mourning for her brother Lazarus was dead and buried for four days. Incidentally, during this moment, Jesus had instructed that the gravestone be removed and as he was getting ready to raise Lazarus from the dead, He stressed to Martha that if she believed, she would see the glory of God. In this Jesus gave us an understanding that even though He is with us and willing to fulfil our desires, it takes believing to see the glory.

As a believer of Jesus Christ, you received this glory when you were born again. This glory is inherent in your recreated spirit. The day you accepted Jesus; the glory came as part of your package of salvation. Scripture says For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ 2 Cor. 4:6. So if you have believed Christ through the preaching of the knowledge of God in His Word, you have received the glory in you. This glory ought to shine brighter and brighter in your life.

It is important to note that not all Christians have the same intensity of glory. All have received the glory but not all are shining the same. Just as the sun has greater glory than the moon, some Christians are shining brighter than others. However, it is given to every Christian to shine without limits as the scripture says, the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day, Prov. 4:18.

The difference in the shining is dependent on the knowledge of God’s Word one has believed in his life. The more we look, read, and believe the Word of God as one looking in a mirror, the more we emerge to be glorious as the image the Word reveals. It takes believing the Word to see the glory revealed in you and around you. Scripture says, but we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. 2 Cor. 3:18. So, we are changed from various levels of glory as we keep looking into the Word of God. Inversely, the scripture implies you cannot shine in this glory until you get it in you by the Word of God. Therefore, believe the Word and see the glory.

If you believe by His stripes you were healed, the glory will keep you healed. If you believe you are righteous, the glory will work in you to overcome any traits of unrighteousness. Just believe and you will see the glory manifesting in your life. And when you believe, speak it over your life, repeatedly. It will make you what it says.

I believe the promises of God for my life are yes and amen. I believe that all things are working together for my good. The Lord is working in me to perfect that which He destined in me in Jesus name.
